We refer to the earlier communication dated May 28, 2011 from Brigade Enterprises Ltd. wherein it was indicated that BCV Developers Pvt Ltd would update you on developments at Brigade Orchards in general and Brigade Value Homes @ Brigade Orchards in particular.

Brigade Orchards – An Overview

Brigade Orchards, located at Devanahalli, Bangalore North is a 120-acre, one-of-its-kind, completely integrated and inclusive enclave. It will comprise of luxury villas, townhouses, value homes and premium apartments. Support services, social infrastructure and amenities include, amongst others, schools, a state-of-the-art sports stadium, office spaces, neighborhood shopping, a multiplex, healthcare, clubs, nature trails, parks etc along with provisions for a police station and fire station. In short, a “City within a city”, designed as an eco-friendly, model township, incorporating globally followed “best practices” in town planning and urban infrastructure.

Brigade Orchards will also house an Art Village which is being developed by Brigade Group in conjunction with renowned artists from Bangalore. Brigade Value Homes - Location

Brigade Orchards is located just outside Devanahalli Town, about 9 kms from the Bengaluru International Airport (BIAL) trumpet flyover. It is accessible from NH 207, and also from an existing secondary road that is slated to be expanded to 100 m width as part of the proposed Devanahalli Town Ring Road. Current Status of Development

Site development works are underway since January 2011. The fencing of the entire property with a perimeter of nearly 8.5 kms is well underway, and internal road and infrastructure development works are in progress. Specifically for the Value Homes @ Brigade Orchards, we have planned a dedicated pre-cast yard / plant with state-of-the-art technology from Surbana of Singapore, who are also the architects. The use of the internationally proven pre-cast technology will ensure faster execution, immaculate quality and expeditious implementation of the project.

Approvals Update

We have received the sanction for the Development Plan for the overall development from Bangalore International Airport Area Planning Authority (BIAAPA), and have nearly finalized the unit plans with M/s. Surbana. Based on this, we are gearing up to process the Building Plan shortly, and expect to obtain all pertinent approvals by October 2011.

In the lead-up to the formal launch, we shall be updating you on a regular basis as regards the various developments on site and off site. We will also be sharing with you specific details of the allotment process, documentation, and such-like in due course.
